Our Mission

We believe every child deserves presents on Christmas

The mission of Christmas with Class is to deliver holiday presents to as many kids as possible in low-income schools throughout the Tampa Bay area. We connect individuals, families, and service groups anxious to share joy with a class to sponsor, providing gifts and smiles during the Christmas season.

What began as a tradition of two people “adopting” a class and distributing gifts during the days before Christmas has blossomed into a non-profit with a dream to ensure that every youngster has at least one gift to open each year. Christmas with Class matches those who have love to share with elementary-aged students who return that love with radiant smiles.

One of the goals of Christmas with Class is what we like to call the "jump up and downs." Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like; that moment when you see a young kid so excited, they can't contain themselves and begin to jump up and down! Once you see it, you know that you've truly brought joy to his or her life. For that one moment, they forget any troubles or hardships they may face and life is good.

How it works

The people at Christmas with Class identify schools in high risk areas with kids that may not all receive gifts for Christmas. They then look to match volunteers (called Santa's Helpers) to sponsor a class.

When you commit to sponsoring a class, you agree to purchase a minimum $25 worth of age appropriate gifts for each kid in the assigned class. Typically the class sizes range from 16-25 students.

Once purchased, Santa's Helpers are also responsible to wrap AND deliver the presents on delivery day (the best part!) This is their class to bring excitement and joy during the holiday season.

Ways to get involved

Sponsor a Class! Depending on the class size, this can cost anywhere from $400-$700 per class
Volunteer to buy, wrap and deliver presents! Some sponsors have the money, but not the time. You can be their helper in delivering Christmas Joy!
Donate! We know sponsoring a class can be a lot to ask. 100% of the money donated will go towards sponsoring a class and we will find a volunteer to take care of the rest! We don't have online donations available yet, so please contact us for ways to contribute.
